Notice.

This notice explains what personal information CoGenArt uses, why it is needed and who receives it.

Effective 20 August 2026Print-order privacy

01

Who is responsible

Michael Gbadebo, the operator of CoGenArt, is responsible for personal information handled by the Site. Before print sales are enabled, the seller’s full geographic address and support email are displayed in print checkout and included in the order confirmation.

Privacy and order enquiries may be sent to info.request@cogenart.com.

02

Information we use

For print orders, the Site receives or records the order reference, Artwork reference, product and size, price, payment status, customer name, email address, telephone number where supplied, billing or delivery address, fulfilment status and tracking information. The Site does not receive or store full card numbers.

Delivery and contact details stored in the Site database are encrypted. Technical security logs and rate-limit records may include pseudonymous identifiers derived from an IP address. Artwork contribution and moderation data are handled as described in the Terms & Conditions.

03

Why we use it

Order information is used because it is necessary to take steps at your request and perform the sales contract: quote delivery, process payment, manufacture and deliver the print, send transactional confirmation, show private order status, handle support, refunds, disputes and reprints. Information may also be retained or used where necessary to comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations, prevent fraud, secure the service and establish or defend legal claims.

04

Payment and fulfilment providers

Stripe processes checkout, payment, fraud and transaction information. Its current notice is available in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Prodigi and its production, fulfilment and shipping network receive the Artwork print file and the contact, address and order details necessary to manufacture and deliver the print. Its current notice is available in the Prodigi Privacy & Cookie Policy.

These providers and their networks may process information in other countries using the safeguards described in their terms and data-processing documents. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to professional advisers and service providers subject to appropriate obligations.

05

Retention, security and your rights

Order records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, support, reprints, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes and legal claims, then deleted or anonymised where appropriate. Signed print-file links expire, and cached print files are not publicly listed. Payment details are retained by Stripe under its own requirements.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to complain to a data-protection regulator. Some information cannot be deleted immediately where it must be kept to complete an order, meet a legal obligation or handle a claim. Contact the support address shown above to make a request.

06

Changes

This notice may be updated when the Site, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
